Talent discussion

Postby Anonymous on Fri May 16, 2008 9:38 am

I'm looking to bring up discussions about talents and such :) atm I am looking to learn more about the enhancement specs through this, so this is what I'm looking at so far ;)

Improved Reincarnation

or

Guardian Totems?

I guess the Guardian Totems spec is more handy for the group, but do we really use it that much? Even if you are in a caster group for the moment (which you should only be if there's another enhance shammy in the melee group) you would put up a Strength totem to up your damage. Sure the reduced cd on the grounding totem would be nice for pvp, but for a raiding spec? I'd rather take imp reincarnation so I can ress more often and survive more easily during boss fights.

Or should I just stick those two points into anticipation for more dodge? come here chama! *huggles*

Guardian Toems:-/ Never use them as enhancemetn it's allways the improved SoE Totem or Tremore you have up...

Then there is Air Totems When in group with rogues you get max up dps with GoA totem mixed with Flametongue Toem and SoE totem then you can decide if you wanna use a diffrent water totem depeds on the fight..

Groups

Shammy (enahancement)
Rogue
Rogue
Warrior (fury DW)
Druid (feral dps)

This is if you ask me a perfect buff group but not the best when you are LF dps:-) then you want this melee group:

Shammy (enahancement)
Rogue
Rogue
Rogue
Rogue

Simply because rogues can reduces threat easily...

And to answer your question then go improved something in Restospec instead of wasting points in Guardian totems...

Ask again if you have more:-)

ooh thanks chama, that was somewhat what I was thinking about the guardian totems spec as well... felt a bit wasted. Well I'd just like to bring up random talent discussions here, about raid specs, hit rating, crit rating, roll tables etc :) I am quite fascinated of the system myself :)
